Itinerary Details
Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha (Warm Welcome & Relaxation)
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you are greeted by your professional Triumph Safaris representative with a personalized welcome. After a smooth transfer (approx. 1 hour) to Arusha, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink as you settle into your lodge surrounded by gardens and views of Mount Meru.
Spend the afternoon relaxing, enjoying the pool, or receiving a safari briefing from your guide. Dinner can be enjoyed at the lodge (depending on your arrival time).

Day 2 : Lake Manyara National Park (Lush Forests & Rift Valley Beauty)
After breakfast, depart at 08:00 for Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a slow, scenic drive beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Your game drive takes you through lush groundwater forests alive with monkeys, active baboon troops, and elephants moving quietly between the towering mahogany trees.
Continue toward the lakeshore, where hippos wallow and hundreds of bird species thrive. Sightings may include giraffe, impala, buffalo, and if lucky, Manyara’s famed tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before an afternoon game drive and later transfer to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 3 : Journey to Serengeti National Park (The Great Plains Await)
After breakfast, begin the iconic journey toward the Serengeti (approx. 4–5 hours with stops).
Optional visits along the route include:

• Olduvai Gorge Museum – explore discoveries from one of the world’s most important archaeological sites.
Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate, where the landscape opens into endless golden plains dotted with wildlife. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, arriving in time for sundowners overlooking the savanna.

Day 4 : Full-Day Serengeti Safari (Predators & Endless Plains)
Begin early for the best wildlife viewing. Your safari includes morning and afternoon game drives, with a picnic lunch enjoyed beneath an acacia tree or at a designated viewpoint.
Experience the Serengeti at its most alive, lions resting on rocky kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains for prey, elephants migrating across open grasslands, and wildebeest herds moving in rhythm with the seasons. Return to your lodge for relaxation, pool time, or a sunset drink as the sky glows with fiery colors. Optional luxury touches such as bush dinners or private sundowners may be available depending on the lodge.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater (A Natural Wonder)
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the crater rim before descending 600 meters into the world’s largest intact caldera.
Spend up to six hours exploring this wildlife paradise, home to lions, hyenas, zebras, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and, if luck is on your side, black rhinos that roam the open grasslands. Enjoy a picnic lunch near Ngoitoktok Springs, surrounded by sweeping crater views. In the afternoon, drive to your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu for dinner.

Day 6 : Tarangire National Park (Elephants, Baobabs & River Valleys)
After an early breakfast, continue to Tarangire National Park (approx. 3 hours). This beautiful park is celebrated for its ancient baobab trees, sweeping river valleys, and vast herds of elephants, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, where wildlife gathers to drink, including zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions, and abundant birdlife. Day 7 : Departure (Farewell, Tanzania)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before a transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). If your flight departs early, we recommend adding an extra night in Arusha to ensure a smooth and stress-free departure.
