Itinerary Details
Day 1 : Journeying from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Following breakfast at the lodge, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. The park is situated along the Tarangire River and is characterized by rolling hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its landscape is dominated by Acacia woodlands and majestic African Baobab trees, with expansive swamp regions in the southern part. These water sources attract a myriad of wildlife during Tanzania’s dry season. Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast elephant herds, making it a prime location for elephant sightings in Africa. Additionally, the park is a habitat for unique species such as the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and the Ashy Starlings. Following a picnic lunch, an afternoon game drive in the park will allow you to observe the diverse wildlife before returning to the camp in the evening.
Day 2 : Changing the location from Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast at the campsite, the journey to Serengeti National Park will commence with a game drive along the way, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you bid farewell to the elevated landscapes, you will venture into the heart of untamed Africa – Serengeti National Park – where the vast plains stretch endlessly into the horizon. Your drive will lead you to the central Seronera area, renowned for its abundant wildlife, including the Seronera River that serves as a vital water source attracting a diverse array of Serengeti’s animal species. Upon arrival, a delicious lunch awaits before embarking on an afternoon game drive to explore the park further. The day will conclude with a return to the campsite at sunset for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : From Serengeti to Ngorongoro: Explore the Wonders of Tanzania's National Parks
This morning, we will start our day bright and early with a delicious breakfast before setting off from the camp for an exciting full-day safari adventure in Serengeti National Park. Make sure to have your lunch boxes packed for a day filled with exploration and wildlife sightings. We will dedicate our time to spotting any animals we may have missed on previous drives. For those interested, a thrilling Hot Air Balloon ride can be arranged for an additional fee, offering a unique perspective of the vast Serengeti plains. Known for its diverse ecosystems, abundant wildlife, and lush vegetation, Serengeti National Park is a must-visit destination in Tanzania. After a rewarding day of game drives, we will return to camp for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 : From Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, the plan is to descend 600 meters into the breathtaking crater for a day-long safari adventure. The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its high concentration of African wildlife, boasting around 30,000 animals, including some of the last remaining black rhinos in Tanzania. The park’s ample water supply and food sources support a diverse range of creatures, from wildebeests and zebras to buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants. What makes this national park truly special is its abundance of predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. A delightful picnic lunch awaits on the crater floor, providing a front-row seat to the returning wildlife, before heading back to the lodge at sunset for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay. Don’t miss the chance to visit Lake Magadi, a vast shallow alkaline lake nestled in the park’s southwest corner.
Day 5 : Traveling from Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Following breakfast, you will set off early in the morning for a safari adventure in Tanzania at Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, there will be time to relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara National Park features a large yet shallow soda lake situated at the foot of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, such as elephants, lions that climb trees, and flamingoes drawn to the lake’s algae. Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Arusha.
