Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day at leisure as you recover from your journey. Relax at the lodge, enjoy the gardens, or take a gentle walk around the property. Your safari briefing will be provided later in the evening to prepare you for the adventures ahead. Dinner and overnight at your mid-range lodge in Arusha.
Experience a full-day adventure at Tarangire National Park, where you’ll travel in a comfortable 4×4 Land Cruiser equipped with a unique pop-up roof for panoramic views. Keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife during your exploration, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more. Don’t be surprised if you come across a leopard resting in a tree if luck is on your side! The park is also home to impressive elephant herds, ranging from large families to solitary bull elephants. After a delicious lunch, continue your wildlife spotting journey with another game drive before heading back to Arusha, ensuring you make the most of every incredible animal encounter.

After breakfast, depart from Arusha at 08:00 and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for vast savannas, ancient baobabs, and one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch from your lodge. Explore the Tarangire River ecosystem where elephants gather, lions roam open plains, and leopards rest in shaded branches. In the late afternoon, proceed to Karatu (approx. 1.5–2 hours) for check-in, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, depart at 07:30 toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Admire dramatic views along the crater rim before descending into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater—home to rich wildlife and diverse habitats. Spend up to six hours exploring grasslands, acacia woodland, hippo pools, and soda lakes. Enjoy chances to see lions, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, elephants, and—if luck allows—a black rhino. A hot packed lunch will be served at a designated picnic site. Return to Karatu in the late afternoon for dinner.

Depart early at 06:00 for Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe, one of Tanzania’s last remaining hunter-gatherer communities. Enjoy a respectful, guided cultural experience that may include traditional tracking, fire-making, foraging demonstrations, and archery practice. Activities are observational—not active participation in hunting. Continue to meet the Datoga, skilled traditional blacksmiths who craft tools and ornaments using age-old techniques. After lunch, return to Karatu for relaxation and dinner.
After final exploration, return to Arusha or proceed to the airport, marking the end of your Northern Circuit safari.
